Your Dance, Your Choice
30 Minutes or 1hr
What is it?
A private 30 minute or 1hr session tailored to you and your individual needs delivered face to face in The Studio or live online via Zoom.
I specialise in ballet, pointe & tap. However I am able to deliver a variety of different styles of dance such as contemporary modern jazz and lyrical. I also offer dance based conditioning & fitness and 'Progressing ballet Technique' exercises within this session - it really is your choice.
What do I need?
LIVE ONLINE - you will need suitable footwear for the type of floor in your dance space if you do not posses the necessary dance shoes. You need to wear something comfortable that you can move and sweat in. The space needed will be dependent on the activity so make sure it is suitable.
Equipment needed - Something sturdy to hold onto such as a ballet barre, chair or window ledge. A mat if you have it but it's not essential. If we use equipment you will need to provide your own, for Pilates you can use things you have around the house. Zoom dowloaded to your device.
FACE TO FACE - the Studio has a wooden dance floor. You will need suitable footwear if you do not posses the necessary dance shoes. You need to wear something comfortable that you can move and sweat in - skirts and dresses not recommended in a public environment.
Equipment needed - All equipment and mats will be provided for you unless you wish to you your own.
ALL - Everyone will need a FREE bronze membership on the VFJ Pilates website to complete the health questionnaires. Please ensure you have filled out the health questionnaire and emergency contact form prior to the commencement of the session.
Who is it for?
This is suitable for absolutely anyone. Regardless if you are a complete beginner, advanced practitioner, have medical issues or need dance specific training. All can be catered for.
Who is it not for?
Anyone who has any condition that is prohibitive to exercise without prior medical authorisation. Please make sure you have consulted with your doctor prior to participating in any form of exercise.
Please note only dance, some dance based conditioning and some PBT will be provided in a 1-2-1 Dance session. If you are wanting to do a full lesson of dance based conditioning, a full lesson of PBT, Pilates, strength training or other types of cross training you will need to book a 1-2-1.
