Service Description
What is it? A 20 minute relaxation & stretch class delivered face to face. A gentle session utilising various methods from stretching, trigger point release and guided relaxation to help you de-stress and unwind. Helping to heal the mind as well as the body. What do I need? We use the hall at the school and it has a cushioned floor. You will need suitable footwear, socks or bare feet depending on which class you are attending. You need to wear something comfortable that you can move and sweat in - skirts and dresses not recommended in a public environment. Equipment needed - You will need your own mat. Please feel free to bring your own blankets and cushions if you need padding for sore knees and your own yoga blocks if you have trouble sitting on the floor in anyway. Most other equipment will be provided unless you wish to use your own. Everyone will need a FREE bronze membership on the VFJ Pilates website to complete the health questionnaires. Please ensure you have filled out the health questionnaire and emergency contact form prior to the commencement of the class." Who is it suitable for? Ideal for anyone experiencing stiffness or tightness in their muscles. Anyone wanting to improve flexibility, reduce stress and calm the mind. Who is not suitable for? Anyone who has any condition that is prohibitive to exercise without prior medical authorisation. Please make sure you have consulted with your doctor prior to participating in any form of exercise.
