When the weather heats up, your workouts don’t need to.

Move Smarter, Not Hotter

Sweaty isn’t always better, especially when just walking to the car feels like cardio. Summer movement doesn’t have to mean pushing harder.Try moving earlier in the day, stick to shaded areas, or keep sessions shorter. A good Pilates class in front of a fan counts more than dragging yourself through a high-intensity sweat-fest.

Rethink What Counts

Mobility, stretching, and LIIT (that’s low-intensity interval training) are your summer besties. Swap the 60-minute circuits for 20 minutes of gentle effort and longer rest breaks. Want to lie on the mat and stretch with a towel under your head? That’s still movement. It all counts.

Stay Chill, Literally

Hydration isn’t a summer cliché, it’s necessary. Keep water nearby, use a towel (or three), and be kind to your skin, joints, and patience. Your body is working harder in the heat. Be the friend who brings iced drinks, not guilt.

Mix It Up Outdoors

Warm weather opens the door to new ways of moving. Try stretching in the garden, walking with a podcast, or doing your class near an open window. You don’t have to leave your routine, just take it somewhere with a breeze.

This blog is part of our Safe Summer theme, and pairs perfectly with our three LIIT workouts — short, effective, and designed to keep you moving without overheating.

One small swap might be all you need to keep your body moving without burning out.

Wishing you breezy stretches and workouts that feel like a treat,

Victoria xx
